Ranbar Magenta SR1220-2 is a bright blue-red (magenta) acid anionic dye based on the Xanthene structure. It has a color index of Acid Red 52, appears as a reddish-brown powder, and boasts a high concentration, resulting in a vivid and bright color. This dye demonstrates excellent dyeing performance, but it has relatively poor lightfastness.

Ranbar SR1220-2 Acid Anionic Dye dissolves in water and ethanol, producing a Magenta solution with a fluorescent effect. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it turns orange and becomes red when diluted. The addition of sodium hydroxide to the solution results in a light blue-red color.

Ranbar Magenta SR1220-2 Acid Anionic Dye primarily used for dyeing wool and woolen fabrics, as well as for silk, nylon, or blends of silk and nylon.
