Ranbar P5020 high-transparency phthalocyanine blue pigment is primarily used for coloring in the coatings and ink fields, especially when Pigment Blue 15:1 exhibits noticeable flocculation. It is recommended for use in automotive coatings, industrial coatings, decorative coatings, powder coatings, NC coatings, epoxy coatings, fluorocarbon coatings, gravure printing inks, flexographic printing inks, offset printing inks, and more.
The improvement in flocculation resistance of phthalocyanine pigment blue 15:2 is mainly achieved through chemical modification (changes in pigment particle size and distribution can affect this performance). The pigment exhibits similar properties to pigment blue 15:1 in other applications, and it can be used in specialty gravure solvent-based inks in printing ink applications.
