Product Description

Ranbar Yellow SR3410-1, C.I. Basic Yellow 2, is a diphenylmethane-type cationic dye. It appears as a yellow powder with vibrant color and strong dyeing power, but it has relatively low color fastness. This dye easily dissolves in water and ethanol. When dissolved in ethanol, it takes on a yellow color, while in hot water, it appears as a bright yellow shade.

 

For optimal use of Ranbar Yellow SR3410-1 cationic dye, it is advisable to keep the dissolution temperature and dyeing temperature below 60°C. This precautionary measure helps prevent dye decomposition and minimizes color loss. When used in combination with other dyes, the temperature of the dye solution should also be controlled not to exceed 70°C, as its aqueous solution decomposes into tetramethyl benzophenone at temperatures exceeding 70°C.
