Ranbar Violet GS6020 photochromic powder is a Colorless to Violet UV Photochromic Pigment Powder. It appears white or colorless indoors and transforms into violet when exposed to ultraviolet light.

Ranbar photochromic powder is produced using microencapsulation technology, with particle sizes ranging from 1 to 10 μm. The product is environmentally friendly and safe, free from harmful substances to the human body, and complies with safety toy standards and food packaging regulations. Through the process of microencapsulation, the product's performance is enhanced, including improved thermal stability and oxidation resistance.

There are two types of photochromic powder: reversible photochromism and irreversible photochromism. Product designs primarily target the color-changing demands in indoor environments without ultraviolet (UV) light and outdoor environments with UV light. The resulting products appear colorless (or in their original color) in environments without UV light and change color in the presence of UV light sources, as illustrated in the diagram below.
