            Ranbar Brown DP7030 is a colorless to brown light-induced chromatic dye with a phthalocyanine structure. After absorbing ultraviolet rays (usually from the sun or ultraviolet lamps), it changes its chemical structure to turn from transparent to brown. When the ultraviolet source is removed, the dye returns to a transparent state. Depending on the application, they can undergo repeated color changes, and the number of cycles is mainly determined by the matrix into which the light-induced chromatic dye is embedded. They can also change from one color to another by combining with permanent pigments.

           Ranbar photochromic dyes can be used in many novel applications, creating unique products and promotional items, such as printing company logos or brand names on fabrics or clothing, intaglio printing, offset printing and screen printing, T-shirts, fashion wear, children's clothing, party wear, toys, cosmetics, nail polish, eyeglasses and sunglasses lenses, thermometers and temperature indicators, ultraviolet indicators, footwear, packaging, glassware, ceramics, plastics, anti-counterfeiting printing, security and industrial applications, and so on.
 

Photochromic dyes need to be dissolved in an appropriate medium (such as resin) to exhibit the color-changing effect. The polarity of the medium has a significant impact on the color-changing performance of this product. It is recommended to conduct a sample test before use to confirm the coloration state.

Avoid using it together with UV absorbers. It is highly sensitive to polarity. Different additives or using different substrates may cause color differences.

The decomposition temperature of photochromic dyes is relatively low. If there is a high-temperature process, it is recommended that the processing temperature does not exceed 220 degrees, and the processing time should not exceed 30 minutes. Reducing the processing temperature or shortening the high-temperature processing time can help improve the color-changing performance of the final product. It is recommended that customers conduct a small-scale test before use.

It is highly susceptible to factors such as light in the environment, oxygen, and pH value. Long-term exposure to ultraviolet light will cause photoaging, reducing the color-changing ability of photochromic dyes. This is manifested as a shortened service life or even loss of light-sensitive color-changing ability. Please pay attention to sealing the container and store it in a dark and dry place.
