LANXESS BAYFERROX Red 4100 is a yellowish tinted iron oxide red inorganic pigment manufactured using the Laux process with powder particles in the shape of a ball. The manufacturing process involves very high temperature calcination and exhibits good thermal stability at temperatures in excess of 800ºC. It also has high light resistance and weather resistance, easy dispersion and very low conductivity, high stability to color change, due to the strong grinding in the production process, the content of pigment aggregates is significantly reduced, so it is also suitable for the use of high-speed dissolver for dispersion.
